Don't Touch...

I am amazed at how much Joshua is understanding these days! It's funny really, he's crawling around our living room - exploring - and then mommy pipes up from across the room and says "Don't touch!" Joshua turns, sitts on his bum, and looks at me with this look on his face that says "do you have to ruin all of my fun?" Sometimes he'll even start crying, but I know it's because I have a stern look on my face and the tone of voice that I used. He is going to bed so well for us now -in fact he slept until 8:20 this morning... nice! Also, his cold is clearing up, I almost don't want to take him to church tomorrow - nursery with kids all sucking on the same toys, with germs.... beside the fact that I am not feeling well, it would be nice to just stay home. But then there's the whole thing about the fact that Church gets me out of the house, and gives me social interaction. Also, tomorrow is the first Choir practice for the Christmas thing. I will likely go.

I am in serious need of a hair cut! But am trying to wait as long as possible - so my hair will be as long as possible - that I could maybe get a style that I like! I am fighting off the urge to go to some cheap place to get it trimmed, but it's all I can think of when I look in the mirror! We'll see how long I can wait!

Lizzie, I thought of you today... I had Baskin Robins! I had Gold medal ribbon.... it was sooo good! I even bought a tub of Pralines and Cream! It was kind of crazy, I have a cold, it was rainy today and I was sitting in my car eating ice cream... I am quirky!

I went to a huge yard sale today, with a woman that I met from church, Sarah, and she has a daughter, Annabelle, ( I totally love the name)It was crowded... but I got a costume for joshua for $3. They had a ton of stuff. I even ran into (not literally) another woman who is in my discussion group for MOPS, Lacey, and she is invovled in Doula work. I am so interested in Doula work, I gave my number to the Woman running the booth, and hopefully she will contact me about it. We'll see. It would be a viable option instead of going back to work. I need to be praying about this stuff. I guess I get frustrated with $, because there are plently of things that I would love to do - we just don't have the $ for me to get trained, or the equipment that I would need to get setup in any area. Anyway, enough of that complaint. I mean really, what do I have to complain about? I have a family, and house, food, and I am not lacking anything that I need.

Well, I am off to enjoy some junk food... will it be chips and dip or Pralines and cream Icecream?
